Privacy Policy
This page sets out what the site does and does not do with data. In one sentence: every number you type into a calculator stays in your own browser.
What we do not collect
- Any value entered in a calculator — dimensions, areas, quantities, prices — is never uploaded
- Name, phone number or email — there is no signup or login
- What you calculated or which pages you read — no profiles, no behavioural tracking
Support chat and feedback
The bottom-right corner has a support chat and feedback form. Only when you submit something yourself does the following reach the server:
- The text you write (question, bug report)
- Contact details you choose to provide (optional)
- The page address, page language and browser type at that moment
- A one-way hash of your IP address (rate limiting only — the raw address is not stored)
This is used only to improve the tools and to reply to you. It is not shared, not cross-analysed and not passed to any ad system. Questions the assistant could not answer are also logged as anonymous text for a single purpose: adding the answer to the FAQ or building the calculator that was missing.
Server logs
Like almost every website, the hosting provider keeps access logs — typically IP address, time, requested page and browser type — for troubleshooting and security. They are not merged with any analytics on this site and are not used to identify individuals.
Cookies and third-party analytics
This version of the site sets no cookies of its own.
To know how many people visit, the site uses a lightweight third-party visit counter (busuanzi, busuanzi.ibruce.info). It records only two totals — page opens and unique visitors — and shows them in the footer. It does not record any value you type into a calculator, does not track your path through the site, and builds no personal profile. If you prefer not to be counted, block third-party requests or use an ad blocker; every calculator still works normally.
The site may carry third-party advertising such as Google AdSense. If it does, the ad network may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other sites. You can block cookies in your browser settings, or manage personalised advertising through Google Ad Settings. We do not control third-party cookies; their own privacy policies apply.
